As part of a concert series at “Pizzas en Dedalo”, Dedalo Barranco presents Ania Paz Trío en Concierto, on Wednesday December 14th at 8:30 pm, Avenida Sáenz Peña 295, Barranco.
The pianist and composer has connected her musical work with several universal values, such as bringing different cultures together through art, the integration of artistic disciplines, the promotion of current innovative compositions, and the inspiration to the community.
This time in her career reflects the various influences from Europe, the United States and the Caribbean in her music, as well as the new experiences after returning to Peru. Apart from her contributions to college music students at UPC and PUCP, she has recently participated at the Contemporary Music Festival Erart in ICPNA; presented a concert series dedicated to Lima and its composers at the British Cultural Center in Miraflores; and was the musical director of a 22 female musicians band called Women All Stars at the Rimac Cultural Center in Asia, produced by Mabela Martínez from Sonidos del Mundo.
With a unified vision of soloists and rhythm section, the Ania Paz Trio perseveres on the creation of a Contemporary Latin Jazz sound.
